This policy explains what we collect, why we use it and the choices you have.

Information we handle
We collect the email, display name and profile details you provide. We also collect information about games and tournaments you create or join, profile photos, account activity and support messages. We use limited technical data, such as your IP address and request details, to protect the service from abuse.
Google Maps Platform and location
Google Maps Platform provides venue search. We send your search text, a temporary search token and an approximate location to Google to find venues. Your location is sent only after you choose “Near me”. We do not save your exact browser location. When you choose a venue, we save its Google place ID and get fresh venue details from Google when needed.
Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy. You can block location access and search by venue or city instead.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, publish your listings, run player profiles, manage game entries, fix problems, prevent abuse and send account messages. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising by other companies.
Cookies and local storage
Shuttle Circuit uses a secure cookie to keep you signed in. The app also uses browser storage for your theme, install prompts, unfinished drafts and practice scores. You can clear this storage in your browser settings.
Retention, sharing and security
We keep information for as long as we need it to run the service, meet legal or safety duties and settle disputes. We share it only with providers that help us run Shuttle Circuit, when you publish it, when the law requires it or when you ask us to. We use access controls and encrypted connections, but no online service can promise complete security.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, change who can view it, block location access and remove your photo. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information where the law allows. Contact shuttlecircuit@tethrex.com.
Updates
We may update this policy when the service changes. Important changes will have a new effective date and may also appear as a notice in the app.
